HOW CAN I START WORKING WITH YOU?
To book a coaching session, discuss what you are looking for, check our 'thinking-fit' or find a time that works for us to start please contact me and we can go from there.

WHERE DO YOU COACH FROM?
Coaching should happen in a place that you feel comfortable talking about things, and where you can be open to doing some thinking. We can do coaching virtually (online or over the phone) - this gives the most flexibility for your location - you might be on a walk, at your workplace, home on the couch, or anywhere that works! If you live in the Wellington/Kāpiti region, my office is in Pukerua Bay, or we can discuss if there is a local meeting point that is suitable e.g. a cafe, a waterfront walk. We can also arrange travel for coaching, workshops or programmes as part of a package of supports for you or your organisation.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR A COACHING SESSION?
You only need to bring something that you want to think about together. There is no preparation needed beyond that.  You just need to have a sense of what you want to think about - together we will work out how to think about and where to start

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
In a coaching session we will work together to create a space where you can do your best thinking. I will provide structure, challenge, and observation to help you clarify and move towards your goals and values. You are the expert in you, and your role is bring along the starting point of what you want to think about or work on.

ARE YOU A PSYCHOLOGIST OR MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER?
No, I am not trained to practice psychology as a psychologist, therapist, counsellor, or mental health practitioner. Psychologists and other allied health professionals provide a different form of therapy and support than what coaching offers. That doesn't mean you need to be 'mentally well' to benefit from coaching - it can absolutely be beneficial as part of working towards wellbeing, but it's important to understand that I'm not offering treatment or diagnosis of mental health conditions.

HOW DO COACHING PACKAGES WORK?
We offer coaching packages focused on navigating changes or specific situations, and to support access to regular coaching. When you buy a coaching package, you can then book sessions against your package as your 'payment method' - this gives you the flexibility to use your discounted sessions when you need them. You can check the 'my-account' section to see your packages and remaining sessions, and at the booking check-out you will also see how many sessions remain in your package. You will get a reminder 10 days prior to your package expiring.

CAN I DESIGN MY OWN COACHING PACKAGE?
If you are looking for regular coaching, or establishing a coaching relationship to draw on over time then we can look at a package of supports to get you the best value and fit for what you are looking for. This might look like some intensive coaching sessions spaced around an event or decision you are making, or planning for regular coaching mixed with shorter coaching burst sessions in between. For organisations or teams looking to provide coaching there is the option to explore retainer and fee structures.
