About Me
Ko Ōtauathi te whenua tupu
Ko Pukerua Bay te kainga
Ko Krysta Trevis toku ingoa
My childhood was in Christchurch, with my studies and career taking me to Dunedin, Melbourne, and Wellington. I live in the gorgeous Pukeura Bay north of Wellington with my husband, two curious kids and a smoochy cat. I spend time at our local nature sanctuary (Ngā Manu), on the sidelines of football games or playgrounds, and adventuring in our backyard. As a behavioural neuroscientist I am all about what we do, why we do it, and what our amazing brain is doing behind the scenes.
Why Beyond Curiosity?
We’re often caught in cycles of curiosity — asking why things happen, what might come next, or wondering what if? Curiosity is valuable - it underpins learning and discovery - but it can also keep us circling questions without moving forward. This is what I have seen holding back performance, wellbeing, and innovation for individuals and organisations.
At Beyond Curiosity, I create the space to move beyond those loops of thought — uncovering the insights, intentions, and actions that bring clarity and direction. Through coaching, facilitation, and research, I help individuals, organisations, and communities untangle complexity and sustain momentum. This work isn’t about quick answers, but about uncovering the wisdom that’s already there and turning it into something practical.
Working with me means unlocking potential. It’s about creating the space for those “aha!” moments of insight that spark meaningful change — whether through new ideas, reclaimed knowledge, or clearer next steps. As your thinking partner, I support you in turning reflection into action, so wellbeing, performance, and impact can grow in lasting ways.
